Ramon was born with a medical condition called Goldenhar’s syndrome. He came to Dr. Kongkrit Chaiyasate and Beaumont Craniofacial Clinic after several reconstructive surgeries at several other hospitals. Channel 4 put together his story into a 9-minute long DATELINE DETROIT: Faces Of Change. It was broadcasted on October 10th, 2012.
